About Naga Festival
The Naga festival is social, but it is also to exchange previous year experiences, to make plans for the coming year and to discuss how to overcome difficulties. They pray for abundant crops and domestic animals and to have good weather. Another  aspects  of  this  festival  is  reunion  of relatives, who are  away from  home. They worship to their deities by scarifying the animals. The festival is usually in the mid of January.


Day 01- Jan 12, 2014
YAGNON-MANDALAY-HOMALIN (L/D)

-          Leave from Yangon to Homalin via Mandalay
-          Transfer to Htamanthi village by boat
-          Lunch on boat
-          Arrival to Leshi Town
-          Have a dinner & stay overnight at Leshi Town

Day 02- Jan 13, 2014
Leshi Town (B/L/D)

-          Visiting Around Leshi Township
-          Lunch & Dinner
-          stay overnight at Leshi Town

Day 03- Jan 14, 2014
Leshi Town-Naga Traditional New Year Festival (B/L/D)

-          -           Have a breakfast
-          Enjoy the ceremony of Naga Traditional New Year
-          Lunch & Dinner
-          stay overnight at Leshi Town

Day 04- Jan 15, 2014
Leshi Town-Naga Traditional New Year Festival (B/L/D)

-         -            Have a breakfast
-          Enjoy the ceremony of Naga Traditional New Year in the morning & ceremony of bonfire festival at night
-          Lunch & Dinner
-          stay overnight at Leshi Town

Day 05- Jan 16, 2014
Leshi Town-Htamanthi-Homalin-Yangon (B/L/D)

-         -            Have a breakfast
-          Leave Leshi to Htamanthi to Homalin
-          Fly back from Homalin to Yangon via Mandalay
